Welcome to the online home of Hall Farm plus Axholme Cattle. Animal Activity License - North Lincolnshire Council AA36861 Farming We are a small traditional farm close to the village of Messingham in North Lincolnshire. The farm is predominantly beef with a small herd of native cattle consisting of Lincoln Reds, Aberdeen Angus and Herefords plus commercial cross breeds. Part of the farm is laid to arable with crops including hay and barley. Jamie came into farming after leaving the Royal Air Force in the late 1990's having served close to 20 years in the Royal Air Force Regiment. Since leaving, Jamie has been diagnosed with PTSD type health problems and has found that being around animals has helped him enormously. Jamie now is extending this opportunity to other veterans and their families in the form of Axholme Farm Care. Further information on this may be found in the Farm Care tab. Historical and Film / TV Work We also have a small, unique display team who aim to provide the public an insight into the role animals have played in history. We are a complete package with our own animals, transport, and equipment. The main periods of history we cover are from the 19th century, up to the 1950's. We can cover other periods, or topics out of our normal subjects with a little advance warning and discussion. We also cooperate with other groups and displays and can help provide additional performers and displays as the need arises. We also work in close co-operation with the Royal Air Force Regiment Museum and Association portraying this unique Corps. Our most requested displays include:
